Key security obligations include maintaining confidentiality of system access codes, reporting any security threats or system violations, protecting facility access cards, not transferring or loaning access credentials, complying with state IT security policies, and protecting individual privacy rights. Contractors must also secure workstations by logging off or using password-protected screensavers, and are prohibited from misusing protected health information or infringing on copyrighted materials.
