About this file

This document contains two Data Item Descriptions (DIDs).

The first DID, DI-MISC-81459B, describes the required format and content for a Syllabus document. The Syllabus establishes the course configuration baseline and is used as a course control document. It includes sections on course accounting, training standards, academic media, training devices, criterion-referenced objectives, course data, facilities, and a curriculum outline.

The second DID, DI-TMSS-80527D, describes the required format and content for Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) Manuals and associated supplemental data. COTS manuals may be used as-is or supplemented to support COTS equipment used by the Department of Defense. The manual must contain technical information on assembly, installation, operation, parts, and maintenance of the commercial equipment.

The documents are related to a federal contract opportunity for an "Oxygen Clean Low Pressure Calibrator (OCLPC)". This is a commercial items solicitation from the Department of the Navy Naval Sea Systems Command. Proposals are due by the response date stated in the posting, and the government will award to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the requirements and is most advantageous based on the stated evaluation criteria.
