About this file
This document is a Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) that specifies the requirements for a Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Report on the pad eyes for a Dry-Dock Dust Collector project.
The key details are:
- The NDT report must certify that the crane lifting points/pad eyes have been load tested to 125-130% of the rated capacity and that the load bearing welds have passed magnetic particle or liquid penetrant examination. Failure to provide the satisfactory load test certification and NDT report could result in rejection of the equipment.
- The report must be delivered after contract award but before delivery of the equipment.
- The report is subject to Distribution Statement D, limiting distribution to DoD and DoD contractors only.
- The CDRL provides instructions on completing the form, including details on pricing the data item under different effort groups.
The related federal contract opportunity is for the Dust Collector project, solicited by the Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime. No additional details about the solicitation are provided in the documents provided.
