About this file

This is a Statement of Work for the Colorado State Patrol (CSP) Aircraft Unit seeking a multi-year agreement for full-motion simulator flight training. The contract requires training facilities to provide initial and recurrent training on either the Pilatus PC-12 NG with Honeywell Primus Apex avionics or the King Air 200 with Garmin G-1000 avionics, with a minimum of four pilot training slots available for the PC-12 in October of 2026, 2027, and 2028, and a minimum of four pilot training slots available for the King Air in March of 2027 and 2028. The training facility must be located no more than 600 driving miles from Denver, Colorado, with a preference for training to be provided within the State of Colorado. All secured training slots shall be interchangeable between the two aircraft types as needed.

Evaluation of proposals will be based on the facility's ability to meet the stated requirements and the pricing submitted for initial and recurrent training. The quoted pricing constitutes a guaranteed price for training should CSP choose to utilize those services, though the pricing itself does not constitute a binding contract for training. There is no penalty for unused training slots, providing CSP with flexibility in utilization of the secured capacity.
