This document is an Exhibit "A" Scope of Services for Living Shorelines, prepared by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), seeking a qualified vendor to implement nature-based infrastructure projects focused on coastal resiliency, water quality enhancement, and environmental stewardship. The vendor will be responsible for multitrophic ecosystem underwater habitat enhancements and living shoreline installations at various locations, including facilitating community volunteers and environmental professionals, furnishing and installing marine ecosystem components like clams, oysters, and seagrasses, and utilizing a unique six-foot diameter drone specifically designed to deploy clam and oyster spat aerially. The document specifies that the vendor must coordinate with local governments, agencies, and civic organizations to build and construct specialized infrastructure like oyster catcher matts, establish functioning multitrophic ecosystems, install live-stream cameras at restoration sites, and integrate the project into educational platforms for schools and public engagement. The FDOT will provide a Contract Manager, currently identified as Richard Moss from the Planning Environmental Management Office, located in Tampa, Florida, with contact information included. The department reserves the right to change the Contract Manager or appoint a delegate at any time, indicating flexibility in contract administration.
