About this file
This is a conceptual design exhibit for the City of Daytona Beach's LPGA Stormwater Park project, a 38-acre park development located on LPGA Boulevard in Daytona Beach, Florida. The design plan encompasses approximately 7.4 acres of wet stormwater retention and includes multiple recreational and amenity features: two basketball courts, playground and fitness areas, picnic areas, a great lawn for events and open play, a wetland boardwalk with enhanced plantings, restrooms, trails and boardwalks, parking facilities, neighborhood connections, and both large and small dog parks. The conceptual design, dated June 17, 2025, represents the initial planning phase for this comprehensive park development that will require detailed construction-ready design documents across landscape architecture, civil engineering, and building systems disciplines.
The City of Daytona Beach issued RFP 2638 seeking a qualified consulting team to develop both a Comprehensive Master Plan and construction-ready design document packages for the park. The project deliverables must include all necessary landscape, civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical drawings required for bidding and construction. This exhibit serves as a visual reference for the proposed park layout and demonstrates the scope of amenities and infrastructure planning that the selected design consultant team will need to develop into detailed engineering and architectural specifications for contractor procurement and implementation.
