About this file

This document is a Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) for the Gymnasticator Upgrades project at Rock Island Arsenal. The CDRL outlines specific documentation requirements for the contractor, including six primary data items to be submitted at different stages of the project. Key documentation includes Installation and Preparation Documentation (with subtasks like Equipment Characteristics, Installation Documentation List, Tool List, Electrical and Hydraulic Schematics, and Equipment Identification), a Maintenance Manual with Preventive Maintenance Procedures, an Operator Manual, and Environmental Compliance Data including Safety Data Sheets and a Chemical List.

The documentation must be submitted in specific electronic formats (PDF, DXF, or Microsoft Word/Excel) with varying submission timelines, typically 30-60 calendar days before or at equipment delivery. All documentation will be sent to Rock Island Arsenal, specifically to Bob McClure at TARA-LGC, and must provide comprehensive details about the equipment, including standard and optional features, technical specifications, maintenance procedures, operational instructions, and environmental compliance information. This documentation supports the modernization of gymnasticator control systems for weapons systems including M1A1, M178/M182, M119, M119A3, M109, and M35.
