About this file
The document is a Scope of Work for the California Military Department (CMD) detailing a remediation project for the Stockton Motor Pool located at 8010 South Airport Way in Stockton, California. The project involves rehabilitating utilities and parking areas, specifically addressing two critical issues: a compromised water main and a damaged sanitary sewer line. The contractor will be responsible for locating, cutting, and replacing these infrastructure components, ensuring they are restored to working condition. The work includes detailed specifications for pipe replacement, asphalt repair, and utility restoration, with all work to be performed according to County of San Joaquin and City of Stockton standards.
The project requires extensive documentation and compliance, including submission of an installation schedule, product data for materials, and a quality control plan. Contractors must have DIR (Department of Industrial Relations) Certification and potentially SB/DVBE certification. Security requirements mandate that all personnel have current federal picture identification, and vehicles must have valid registration and insurance. Work is to be performed during normal business hours (0700-1600 Monday through Friday), with potential for alternate schedules subject to CMD approval. The contractor will be responsible for site safety, traffic control, and adhering to Cal Osha safety standards, with all work subject to State of California inspection.
