Re: Elevator Maintenance services solicitation

Federal Detention Center (FDC), SeaTac, WA 98198

Dear Quoter:

Pricing, technical capability, and past performance will be evaluated to determine which quote represents the best value to the Government in accordance with FAR 12, for Commercial Services. Quoters are notified, that due to costs associated with security clearance requirements, the BOP values a contractor’s ability to provide recruit and retain reliable stable service providers from the local area rather than traveling service providers. FDC SeaTac has a current and immediate need for service; therefore, quoters are encouraged to identify the persons who will provide services under a resulting contract, and those who do, will be evaluated more favorably with regards to Technical Capabilities.
