About this file

The document provided details the instructions for creating and submitting a bid response through the e-Builder Bid Portal for the 22-02 MSU Bolin Hall Renovation & Expansion - FF&E RFP, a state and local contract opportunity issued by the Texas Tech University System. The RFP solicits furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) bids for the renovation and expansion of the Bolin Hall at Midwestern State University located in Lubbock, Texas. Responses can be uploaded through the e-Builder Bid Portal until 3:00PM CT on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, after which access will be denied. Bidders are instructed to review the RFP documents, submit questions through the Q&A Board, acknowledge any posted addenda, and complete the response form with their bid details and attachments before the deadline.

The RFP does not provide specific details on pricing terms, set asides, incumbents, funding sources, or amounts. However, it states that the Texas Tech University System is an equal opportunity employer and encourages all historically underutilized businesses to participate. Bidders are advised to refer to the RFP document and contact the designated Contract Administrator or Interiors Project Manager for any additional information regarding this solicitation.

The Bidding Process

Contract Administrator

The Bidding Module eliminates the large paper trail. The system keeps an automatically generated log of all communications and activity, enabling the ability to document all bid activity and associated information exchange. This minimizes risks, decreases liability, and eliminates miscommunication.

Maintaining an online database of bidders and activity reporting for bids won, bids lost, and responsiveness provides historical references for future reference. Executives or other individuals from the organization requiring visibility into bid activity can automatically generate the necessary bid reports.
