About this file

This document is a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) issued by the Collin County Community College District (Collin College) for Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) Services for renovations to the CHEC and Courtyard buildings. The CHEC building renovation is estimated to cost $7 million and cover approximately 90,000 square feet, with 41,000 square feet for carpet replacement and the remaining area for varying degrees of renovation. The Courtyard building renovation is estimated to cost $5 million and cover approximately 30,000 square feet. Responses to the RFQ are due by April 23, 2024, and Collin College intends to select one firm to provide CMAR services for both renovation projects as part of its 2024 Capital Improvement Program.

The RFQ does not provide details on pricing terms, set-asides, incumbents, funding requirements and sources, or other salient information. However, it does indicate that Collin College reserves the right to award each renovation project to separate firms if it so chooses.
