SJCCD is seeking one portable CMM unit with specific capabilities including contact and/or non-contact metrology-grade measurements, high-resolution optical and/or laser scanning, an articulated portable CMM arm with a minimum of seven axes, and compatibility with 110V/120V power. Bids are due by 2:00 PM on April 8, 2024, and the equipment must be delivered, installed, and operational by August 31, 2024. Training on the operation of the portable CMM is required, and annual preventative maintenance services are an optional service.

SJCCD does not give preference to historically underutilized or small businesses, but the awarded contractor will be required to track and report the amount paid to any subcontractors along with their supplier diversity classification. The college reserves the right to accept or reject any exceptions to the terms and conditions as part of the contract negotiation process.
