About this file

This document is an Addendum to a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by Texas State University for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Building Demolition & Asbestos Abatement services. The RFP seeks qualified vendor(s) to provide these services on an as-needed basis for capital improvement, renovation, infrastructure, and other facility related projects. The contract term will be through April 15, 2025, with the possibility of three one-year extensions. A pre-proposal conference was held on March 19, 2024, and proposals are due by April 2, 2024 at 2:00 pm CST. The University has determined that subcontracting opportunities are probable, and a HUB Subcontracting Plan is required as part of the proposal.

The RFP outlines nine evaluation criteria including the respondent's ability to provide demolition and abatement services, qualifications of the team, past performance on similar projects and for higher education institutions, project planning and scheduling, quality control, safety program, asbestos handling, and cost. Parking and permitting requirements for vendors and contractors are also detailed. Any questions regarding the RFP must be submitted in writing to the designated Buyer at Texas State University.
