About this file
This document is an addendum for a Request for Bid (RFB) issued by the City of Waco, Texas for the Riverside Water Treatment Plant Clearwell Tank Perimeter Tree Clearing project. The scope of services includes clearing trees and underbrush 10 feet from the perimeter fence around the clearwell tank, as well as cutting trees inside the fence flush with the ground. A mandatory pre-bid meeting was held on March 8, 2024, and the bid closing and opening times are set for March 20, 2024. The project will take place within the jurisdictions of Mclennan County and the City of Waco.
The addendum provides answers to questions raised at the pre-bid meeting, including allowing the fence to be taken down for access and the use of lighter equipment like a gator or four-wheeler near the tank. All other requirements of the RFB remain unchanged. No additional details on pricing, set-asides, funding, or the incumbent contractor are provided in the document.
