About this file

This document is an amendment to solicitation IW175009 issued by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) for the procurement of Apex Officer X2-Pro Training Simulators. The amendment provides responses to questions received from vendors, including details on the required system configuration and training scenarios. The original solicitation seeks to establish a purchase order for the Apex Firearm Simulator, which is a requirement for the state of Texas and specifically Walker County.

The amendment clarifies that vendors should quote a 2-man system configuration, and that TDCJ is not interested in training scenarios with more than 8 participants at this time. The solicitation has an offer opening date of March 6, 2024, and vendors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment in their submitted bids.
