About this file
The document is Addendum #1 to Invitation for Bid (IFB) No. 304T-24-545A1 for Salt Brine Production Systems issued by the Statewide Procurement Division (SPD), a division of the Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) in the state of Texas. The addendum extends the response due date from March 5, 2024 to March 19, 2024 and removes the word "Automated" from the specification for the salt brine production systems. The IFB has a major customer in the Texas Department of Transportation, and the jurisdictions involved include Travis County and the city of Austin.
The addendum also answers three questions related to the specifications, including allowing for a submersible self-draining stainless steel pump and a fresh water float/diaphragm valve overflow protection system. The level of automation required for the salt brine production systems is not specified in the addendum, and respondents are directed to reference the changes made in Part A of the addendum.
