About this file
This document is an Addendum for Invitation for Bid (IFB) No. 304T-24-565A1 issued by the Statewide Procurement Division (SPD), a division of the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA). The IFB is for the procurement of innersprings, with a major customer being the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ). The addendum extends the bid due date from February 7, 2024 to February 14, 2024, and modifies the Part A Specifications regarding the border helical assembly. Specifically, the addendum now allows for the use of clips to secure the coils to the border rods as an alternative to the previous requirement of a minimum of three turns per coil.
The related state and local contract opportunity covers jurisdictions in Texas, including Travis County and the City of Austin. The contract is for the supply of innersprings, which are likely used for various state and local government applications, such as correctional facilities operated by TDCJ. The contract term and any renewal options are not specified in the provided information.
