About this file

This document is an Addendum to a solicitation issued by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) for the Garner SP P2P Link project, Solicitation Number 802-24-40843R. The purpose of this Addendum is to extend the due date for bids from January 12, 2024 to January 26, 2024 and to provide clarifications on the scope of work. The project involves the installation of point-to-multipoint wireless links, wireless access points, and outdoor Wi-Fi access points at various locations within Garner State Park, including restrooms, a group hall, visitor center, Cowboy Theater, law enforcement office, and old maintenance shop. TPWD will provide the Cambium network hardware and POE injectors, while the contractor is responsible for the installation, mounting, cabling, and antenna orientation.

The clarifications address questions related to the need for uninterrupted power supplies, the use of existing cabling and switches, the replacement of a maintenance shop cabling run, line-of-sight verification, and the provision of mounting hardware. The addendum also confirms that TPWD will approve any required tree trimming and that standard 110V power outlets will be available for the installation.
