About this file
This document is an amendment to an Invitation for Bids (IFB) issued by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) for the procurement of white cotton bath towels. The amendment provides responses to various questions submitted by potential bidders, including how to access the Electronic State Business Daily (ESBD) portal, the contract duration, current vendor and pricing information, delivery requirements, bid submission details, and bid evaluation criteria.
The IFB is for a one-time purchase of white cotton bath towels. Bids are due on January 2, 2024, by 3:00 PM. TDCJ's award policy will consider bidders' previous performance and service records, and there is no negative impact for bidders without a prior performance history. Vendors are required to submit performance ratings for orders over $25,000, and the towels should be bundled, palletized, and labeled accordingly.
