About this file

This document is an amendment to the Invitation to Bid (IFB) IW170742 issued by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) for the procurement of nitrile gloves. The amendment revises the bid opening date to January 5, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. and provides responses to questions from prospective bidders. The IFB is seeking bids for the supply of nitrile gloves in packages of 12 pairs. Bidders are informed that substitutes will be accepted as long as they meet the specifications. The contract will be for a one-time shipment of the required quantities.

The document indicates that the TDCJ is open to alternative solutions and imported products, as long as they meet the specifications. Bidders are advised to review the solicitation for details on the submission process, as there may be an online portal or other requirements. The TDCJ has not provided prior bid tabulations or pricing information, but has stated that they are seeking competitive pricing for the required nitrile gloves.
