About this file
This document is an addendum containing responses to vendor questions for a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) to secure a Dietetic Internship Coordinator for the Texas Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Dietetic Internship program. The RFP seeks a qualified respondent to work with the Texas WIC Dietetic Internship Director to maintain program accreditation and quality improvement. The RFP was posted on December 12, 2023, with a pre-proposal conference scheduled for December 15, 2023 and a response deadline of January 16, 2024. HHSC intends to award one contract as a result of this solicitation, with an anticipated contract start date of September 1, 2024.
Regarding pricing, the RFP requires a 4-year forecast, with agreed-upon pricing to remain firm and constant over the life of the contract. Pricing cannot be renegotiated annually or biannually. Any revisions to activities or deliverables would require a formal contract amendment. The procurement covers multiple jurisdictions in Texas, including Travis County and the City of Austin.
