About this file

This document is a Solicitation Addendum Acknowledgement Form from the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) Procurement and Contracting Services division. The addendum provides updates to a solicitation for Medicare Part D claims switching services, including a revised solicitation deadline from October 27, 2023 to November 8, 2023 to allow potential bidders time to review the answers to submitted questions. The solicitation is open to vendors within the U.S. only, and all work must be performed within the U.S. Proposals can be submitted electronically per the instructions in the PCS 137 solicitation document.

The current vendor contract for these services has expired, and HHSC is seeking to establish a new contract through this competitive solicitation. Prospective bidders are informed that HHSC estimates an annual volume of approximately 250,000 claims transactions. HHSC has a defined budget for these services but will not provide information on the current vendor's contract value or unit costs. Bidders are directed to submit a Public Information Request to obtain that data.
