About this file

This document is an Addendum to an Invitation for Bids (IFB) issued by Jefferson County Drainage District No. 6 for Railroad Grade Concrete Box Culverts for the Corley Diversion CDBG Project. The addendum extends the bid due date from August 31, 2023, to September 7, 2023, and revises the scope of work. The scope requires the successful bidder to supply and deliver 84 linear feet of 12'x8' railroad grade concrete box culverts in two 42-foot runs, with four of the boxes temporarily plugged with reinforced concrete closures. Delivery time will be a consideration in the evaluation of bids. The project is located in Jefferson County and the City of Beaumont, Texas.

The revised bid form provides unit pricing for the concrete box culverts and the temporary plugs. Bidders must have experience and an established reputation for servicing large volume customers. The project is funded through a CDBG-MIT grant, though funding requirements and sources are not specified. The addendum supersedes any conflicting documents previously issued as part of this IFB.
