About this file
This document is an Addendum to a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) for Answering Services for the Amarillo Campus. The RFP seeks proposals from qualified firms to provide 24/7 answering services, including inbound phone calls, outbound calls and text messaging, to support TTUHSC's Amarillo Campus clinics. The RFP provides details on the service specifications, including required response times, language options, call volume, and documentation requirements. The anticipated contract start date is September 1, 2023, and the contract is expected to be a single award.
The RFP does not specify a budget but provides historical payment information, indicating that the prior fiscal year payments for these services were $44,963. The current incumbent provider, Always Answer Inc., has been providing the requested services for 3 years under the existing contract. The RFP does not stipulate the required dedication or number of operators and supervisors, but it does provide some performance metrics such as average wait time, handle time, and after-call work time. Respondents are allowed to propose alternative fee structures, and the location of the bidder's proposed location or headquarters will have minimal impact on the award.
