About this file
This document is an addendum to a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by the Texas Historical Commission (THC) for the development of a cultural landscape and visual components plan for the Caddo Mounds State Historic Site. The addendum provides answers to various questions submitted by potential proposers, including details on site visits, proposal submittal requirements, the expected timeline for the Caddo scholar selection, and the scope of work. The contract term is revised to be 12 months, starting on August 1, 2023, or the last signature date, whichever is later, with a possible 3-month extension.
The RFP is seeking services from a qualified individual or firm to create the cultural landscape and visual components plan for the Caddo Mounds State Historic Site in Texas. The project is expected to involve planning for new structures, circulation (trails and pathways), and exhibitions. The RFP does not provide the anticipated budget for the scope of work, and the THC is not willing to share this information with proposers. The addendum also clarifies the Hub Subcontracting Goal and the required financial documentation.
