About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) document governing canine kennel facility operations and management. The SOW outlines comprehensive standards for a contractor responsible for managing all aspects of canine kennel operations, including housing, feeding, healthcare, training, and facility maintenance. The document does not specify project quantities, response dates, due dates, site visits, bidder meetings, award dates, or contract term information, as these details are not included in the scope of work document itself.
The SOW establishes detailed operational requirements including facility specifications (clean and secure kennels with temperature controls not exceeding 85 degrees, adequate ventilation, and proper lighting), daily sanitation protocols, and security measures. Canine care requirements mandate balanced diets with fresh water at all times, daily health checks, and immediate notification to the contracting authority of any illness or injury. The contractor must employ qualified staff with canine care experience and implement ongoing training programs. Additional obligations include maintaining daily logs and incident reports, conducting weekly internal inspections with annual external audits, developing emergency procedures with evacuation plans, and providing regular status reports to the contracting authority. The document does not contain information regarding pricing terms, set-asides, incumbents, funding sources, or other financial details.
