Water Heaters for Wallacy Unit - Invitation for Bid

This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) document issued by the State of Texas for the procurement of water heaters for the Wallacy Unit. The solicitation requests quotations for the supply and delivery of water heating equipment to meet the facility's operational requirements. The IFB specifies detailed technical specifications and performance standards for the requested water heaters, with quantities and delivery schedules outlined for the Wallacy Unit location. Interested bidders were required to submit their proposals by the stated due date, with award anticipated following the evaluation of all compliant bids received. The contract term and any renewal options are contingent upon performance and budgetary considerations established by the State of Texas.

The procurement follows standard Texas state purchasing procedures, with pricing to be evaluated on a competitive basis among qualified bidders. The solicitation may include set-asides for small businesses or other designated vendor categories as applicable under Texas procurement law. Funding for this purchase is provided through the State of Texas budget allocation for facility maintenance and operations at the Wallacy Unit. Bidders are expected to provide detailed pricing, delivery timelines, warranty information, and compliance documentation with all applicable state and federal requirements. The evaluation process prioritizes cost-effectiveness, equipment quality, and vendor reliability in determining the successful award recipient.
