About this file
This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) document issued by the State of Texas for dumpster rental and disposal services. The procurement seeks qualified vendors to provide dumpster rental services for waste disposal across the state's operations. The IFB specifies requirements for various dumpster sizes and service frequencies to support state agency needs. Bids were required to be submitted by the stated deadline, with evaluation and award anticipated following the standard competitive bidding process. The contract term includes an initial period with potential renewal options to be exercised at the state's discretion, allowing for service continuity and cost management over an extended relationship.
Pricing shall be submitted on a unit basis for dumpster rental and associated disposal fees, with costs evaluated competitively among qualified bidders. The procurement may include set-asides for small businesses or other designated vendor categories as specified in the IFB terms. Incumbent contractors may be eligible for re-evaluation if they meet current performance standards and pricing competitiveness requirements. The state anticipates funding this expenditure through operational budgets allocated to the requesting agencies. Vendors must comply with all applicable state regulations, insurance requirements, and service level agreements outlined in the bid documents to be considered for award.
