About this file
This is a procurement document from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) for the Goree Unit's acquisition of HVAC parts and accessories. The procurement seeks various heating, ventilation, and air conditioning components and replacement parts to maintain facility systems. The document outlines the specific items required, including detailed specifications for parts such as compressors, motors, filters, condensers, and other HVAC-related accessories necessary for ongoing facility operations. Bidders are required to submit responses by the specified due date, with the contract term covering the procurement period for these essential maintenance and repair components. Site visits to the Goree Unit facility may be arranged for interested bidders to assess operational needs and familiarize themselves with facility conditions.
Pricing for the HVAC parts and accessories must be submitted according to the bid format specified in the procurement documents, with unit pricing and total cost breakdowns required for evaluation. The procurement may include set-aside provisions for small businesses or other designated contractor categories as applicable under Texas procurement regulations. The funding for this procurement is provided through TDCJ's operational budget allocated for facility maintenance and repairs. Award decisions will be based on factors including price competitiveness, product quality, delivery capabilities, and supplier reliability. The selected vendor must demonstrate capacity to provide timely delivery of parts and maintain adequate inventory availability to support the Goree Unit's ongoing HVAC system maintenance and emergency repair requirements.
