About this file

This is a Request for Quotes (RFQ) issued by the West Travis County Public Utility Agency (WTCPUA) for the procurement and delivery of equipment and services related to the Bohls Transfer Pump and Motor #2 project. WTCPUA is requesting sealed quotes from qualified vendors to furnish one vertical turbine transfer pump, motor, appurtenances, delivery, and related field services for the effluent pond transfer pump application at Bohls WWTP located at 12900 Bee Cave Parkway, Bee Cave, Texas. The RFQ was issued on August 12, 2026, with sealed quotes due by 12:00 PM on September 2, 2026, and public opening scheduled for 1:30 PM on the same date at WTCPUA's office located at 13215 Bee Cave Parkway, Building B, Suite 110, Bee Cave, Texas 78738. A site visit is strongly recommended prior to quote submission to verify site access, equipment compatibility, delivery constraints, existing connection requirements, and any conditions that may affect pricing, lead time, or performance. The basis of design is a Flowserve 15EHL, 5-stage vertical turbine pump or approved equal, paired with a NIDEC vertical solid shaft motor rated at 100 HP, 1200 RPM, 460V, 3-phase. The equipment must be capable of delivering 1,600 GPM at 148 feet TDH and include mechanical seals, a flanged bowl assembly with wear rings, a flanged column assembly, and a 10LF steel discharge head.

Vendors must submit complete, itemized quotes separated into four line items: the vertical turbine transfer pump, motor, and required appurtenances delivered to site; freight, delivery, handling, and shipping charges; field service for installation assistance, start-up, and commissioning; and any additional required charges, exclusions, or allowances. Quotes must identify total price, payment terms, exclusions, assumptions, quote validity period, estimated lead time for equipment delivery, earliest available field service date, and warranty information with any applicable limitations. Vendors shall demonstrate experience supplying vertical turbine pumps and motors for municipal water or wastewater utility applications and may propose approved equal substitutions provided the quote clearly identifies deviations and includes supporting technical documentation. The RFQ requires vendor coordination with WTCPUA Operations before delivery, mobilization of field service personnel, start-up, and commissioning assistance, along with compliance with applicable safety requirements and site rules. Quotes should be submitted in sealed format to Leonel Cruz, Operations Manager, at the address listed above, and WTCPUA reserves the right to reject incomplete quotes, request clarifications, waive informalities, or award in the best interest of the Agency.
