About this file
This attachment to RFQ #212-27-0003 establishes the rate structure for deputy court reporting services in Texas. The document outlines compensation for court reporters providing transcription and reporting services under contracts issued through this request for quotation. The rates are structured to cover various service delivery modes, including half-day assignments (up to 4 hours), full-day assignments (over 4 hours), and extended hours beyond the standard 8-hour workday, with differentiated pricing for holiday assignments as defined in Texas Government Code 662.003.
The pricing structure establishes court reporting rates at $255.00 for half-day service and $510.00 for full-day service, with holiday rates of $305.00 and $610.00 respectively, and additional hours billed at $95.55 per hour. Certified transcript rates are set at $7.50 per page for standard turnaround, while rough draft and expedited transcript rates remain to be specified by the respondent. The contract includes a cancellation policy requiring payment of applicable half-day or full-day rates for assignments canceled within 48 hours' notice. Travel expense reimbursement follows the Office of Court Administration (OCA) travel policy, including mileage reimbursement at $0.725 per mile (effective January 1, 2026), lodging reimbursement up to GSA Domestic Maximum Per Diem Rates with pre-authorization, meal reimbursement limited to GSA rates for overnight assignments, and parking expenses on an itemized basis. All respondents agree to be bound by Texas Government Code Section 52.047 regarding court reporting compensation.
