About this file
This document is a vendor information guide issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) for the Region 2 Central Pest Services solicitation. The guide provides instructions for vendors interested in submitting responses to this contract opportunity through the DPS Online Bid Room, an optional electronic submission platform. Vendors must register as vendors in the Online Bid Room system at https://texasdps.appianportalsgov.com/vendor-management, a process that may take up to two business days to receive login credentials. Once registered, vendors can access solicitation opportunities and submit their responses electronically by the deadline specified in the solicitation package. All submissions must comply strictly with the form and method of delivery requirements outlined in the solicitation package, as failure to adhere to these specifications may result in disqualification. Late submissions are not accepted regardless of circumstances.
The document emphasizes that use of the DPS Online Bid Room is optional and that vendors may submit responses through alternative methods identified in the solicitation. Submissions made through the Online Bid Room receive automatic system confirmation, eliminating the need for additional confirmation of receipt. Technical difficulties with the electronic submission system do not constitute grounds for protesting a contract award. Vendors are advised to allow sufficient time for the registration process to ensure timely bid submission and are directed to access the Online Bid Room Vendor Tutorial, Vendor User Guide, Frequently Asked Questions, and other resources available on the DPS website for additional guidance on navigating the system and submitting compliant responses.
