About this file

This is an Amendment No. 1 document related to a Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) HVAC Split System procurement for Hilltop Unit. The amendment modifies the original solicitation terms and conditions for the installation and/or repair of HVAC split system equipment at the specified facility. The original solicitation was posted on May 20, 2026, with a proposal due date of June 16, 2026, allowing bidders approximately 27 days for preparation and submission. The scope of work encompasses HVAC split system installation, configuration, and associated labor required to meet the facility's climate control requirements. Specific item quantities, detailed technical specifications, and any site visit or bidders' conference information are contained within the complete amendment documentation and original solicitation materials.

Pricing terms, payment structures, set-aside designations, incumbent vendor information, and specific funding amounts are addressed within the complete solicitation package and amendment details. Bidders must review all official TDCJ procurement materials, including this amendment and any additional addenda, directly from the agency to ensure compliance with all current contract requirements. The amendment establishes modifications to the original terms and conditions that supersede preliminary documentation. Contractors should seek clarification directly from TDCJ regarding any ambiguities pertaining to contract terms, pricing, scope, technical specifications, insurance requirements, liability provisions, and other material conditions prior to submitting proposals.
