Vendors must provide a minimum 12-month warranty with delayed warranty start dates beginning upon equipment acceptance into TxDOT's inventory, along with complete operational and service manuals including illustrated parts lists and calibration instructions in English. Vendors must furnish safety plaques and decals in accordance with ANSI 535.4 standards and provide a list of authorized Texas servicing dealers. All equipment is subject to acceptance inspection and performance testing within 15 working days of delivery and installation. The specification emphasizes compliance with federal and state of Texas safety, health, lighting, and noise regulations in effect at the time of manufacture, and encourages environmental enhancements in future revisions.
