About this file

This is an addendum to an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the Statewide Procurement Division of the State of Texas for Traffic Control Devices under contract number 304T-26-550A2.3. Addendum No. 1 provides clarifications and responses to bidder inquiries regarding the procurement. The primary products involved are Type III plastic barricades, which historically have been distributed to 25 Highway Districts across the state. Based on five-year historical data, the state has averaged 240 Type III barricades per purchase order. The addendum requires respondents to acknowledge receipt by signing and returning the document with their proposal response, with failure to do so potentially resulting in disqualification.

This addendum revises Attachment A by removing Energy Company Boycotts requirements in their entirety and requires all respondents to download and submit the revised Attachments A-E Rev #1 with their bids. Regarding prior contract information, the addendum directs interested parties to submit Open Records Requests to obtain details about previous contracts, including entities, products, and prices from the last two contracts. The contract specialist for this procurement is Ross Barnard with the Comptroller's office, and respondents must acknowledge receipt of this addendum as a mandatory condition of bid acceptance.
