About this file

This is a vendor information exhibit for the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Online Bid Room, detailing the optional electronic submission platform available for responding to state solicitations. The document outlines the procedures for vendors to access and utilize the DPS Online Bid Room system to submit responses to solicitation opportunities. The exhibit emphasizes that use of the online platform is voluntary and subject to all terms and conditions specified in the solicitation package, with vendors required to review the complete solicitation package before submitting responses. Responses must be submitted by the deadline specified in the solicitation, and late submissions are not accepted. The document does not identify specific product or service requirements, quantities, response dates, or contract terms, as it functions solely as a procedural guide for the submission platform.

The vendor registration process requires a two-step procedure: initial registration at the DPS vendor management portal followed by receipt of login credentials via email, with processing time of up to two business days. The exhibit notes that technical difficulties or delays in the registration process do not constitute grounds for protest of contract awards, and vendors must allow adequate time for registration prior to the submission deadline. The document directs vendors to available resources including an online tutorial, vendor user guide, frequently asked questions, and customer support contact information to facilitate navigation of the platform. Electronic submissions through the DPS Online Bid Room generate automatic confirmation of receipt, eliminating the need for additional delivery confirmation documentation.
