About this file

This is Addendum 01 to an Invitation for Bids issued by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) Infrastructure Division for Project MR11973, which involves relocating a dump station at Bonham State Park in Fannin County, Texas. The addendum, dated December 3, 2025, revises the original solicitation by extending the bid due date from December 9, 2025, to December 12, 2025, at 2:00 PM CT, and extending the performance period from 60 calendar days to 120 calendar days from issuance of Notice to Proceed, with a preferred completion date of March 6, 2026. The contractor must relocate the existing dump station to a new location across from park headquarters, including the addition of an extra waste drop at the center dump station. Work may be scheduled on weekend days with advance approval from Park Superintendent Jason Schooley, with the final weekend work day being March 1, 2026. Updated drawing sheets G1, C1, and C3 with clouded revisions are attached to the addendum.

The addendum addresses nine bidder questions and clarifications regarding project specifications and requirements. Key clarifications include specifications for subgrade requirements under the concrete pavement area, required safety signage at hose bib locations, confirmation that the existing lift station shall remain with no new pumps required, retention of the existing stainless steel lifting chain, and field verification of existing water and wastewater line elevations. The existing dump station shall be abandoned in place rather than removed, and a designated laydown and materials storage area has been identified on the revised drawings. A geotechnical report is not available, though limestone may be encountered near the surface based on recent TXDOT road project findings. Respondents must acknowledge receipt of the addendum by electronically signing and returning it with their bid documents via email.

Addendum No. 01 Project Number: MR11973 Page 2 of 2

A1: REFER TO SHEET C1 FOR UPDATED SUBGRADE REQUIREMENTS AT THE CONCRETE

A2: REFER TO SHEET C3 FOR REQUIRED SIGN AT HOSE BIB LOCATIONS.

Q3: Detail 2 on Sheet C3 indicates new duplex 2 HP submersible effluent pumps, however there is no specification. Please advise. Also note, site staff indicated that new pumps were not required as this lift station is only eight (8) months old.

A3: EXISTING LIFT STATION TO REMAIN, DETAIL 2/C3 HAS BEEN UPDATED.

Q4: Please advise if new stainless steel lifting chain is required at existing lift station.
