About this file

San Jacinto Community College District (SJCCD) has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) #26-03 for Promotional Items, seeking qualified firms to provide screen printed apparel, embroidered apparel/items, awards, trophies, and related promotional products. The RFP was issued on September 4, 2025, with proposal submissions due by September 24, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Central Time through the IonWave e-bidding platform. The initial contract term is one year with potential renewal options for four additional one-year periods. Proposals will be evaluated using a 100-point scoring system across five sections: Qualifications and Experience (20 points), Scope Understanding (25 points), References (10 points), Exceptions to Terms and Conditions (5 points), and Price Proposal (40 points).

The college seeks a vendor that can provide a broad line of products appealing to a diverse population, maintain current product catalogs, and adhere to the college's strict graphic standards. Pricing will be based on discounts off list prices, with potential additional fees for rush orders and shipping. SJCCD is a tax-exempt public community college district and does not give preference to historically underutilized or small businesses, though contractors using subcontractors will be required to track and report supplier diversity classifications. Price adjustments may be considered after the first contract year, based on the Consumer Price Index for Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers (CPI-W) for Houston, Texas, with the college reserving the right to accept or reject any proposed price increases.
