About this file

This is an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for office furniture issued by Head Start of Greater Dallas, Inc. in Dallas County, Texas, with a pre-bid conference scheduled for August 22, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. The bid package requires submission of proposals by October 8, 2025, at 9:30 a.m., with the primary objective of selecting the best supplier for office furniture. Delivery is requested from stock within five working days, with inside delivery, assembly, and set-up included at no extra charge. The contract term appears to be one year, with potential pricing adjustments after the first year subject to mutual agreement.

The bid includes specific requirements such as providing five local references, submitting company insurance documentation, and offering an opportunity for small, minority-owned, or woman-owned businesses with average annual receipts under $4 million to qualify. Payment terms are net 30 days, FOB with inside delivery, and the agency strictly prohibits back orders (except for special order items) and substituted items. Bidders must submit pricing information in a separate envelope and are expected to provide current catalogs with discount pricing. The evaluation will include a review of bid analysis criteria, with the goal of selecting the most suitable office furniture supplier for the agency's needs.
