About this file

This document is a HUB (Historically Underutilized Businesses) Subcontracting Plan for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) for a Digital High Pressure Laminate Fabrication and Related Services contract (Requisition Number 802-26-62175). The solicitation seeks subcontractors for sign making and painting services, with TPWD setting a HUB subcontracting goal of 26% of the contract's value. The procurement follows Texas Administrative Code requirements for state agencies to make good faith efforts to utilize HUBs in contracts for services and commodities.

The document provides a comprehensive list of potential HUB subcontractors in the 961-66 class code for miscellaneous services, specifically sign making and painting services. The search found 24 HUB-certified vendors, all of which are active in the Centralized Master Bidders List (CMBL). The plan includes detailed instructions for prime contractors on how to document their subcontracting intentions, demonstrate good faith efforts to include HUB vendors, and comply with state reporting requirements. The document also lists minority and women's trade organizations and development centers to assist vendors in identifying potential HUB subcontractors.
