About this file
The document is a comprehensive Applicant Survey for a Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) contract opportunity with the University of Texas (UT) System, designed to evaluate potential suppliers for contract inclusion. The survey is due by August 1, 2025, at 3:00 pm Central time and must be submitted electronically to psteinkraus@utsystem.edu, with all accompanying materials scanned and attached to the email. The survey spans ten pages and requires detailed responses about the applicant organization's contract portfolio, sourcing processes, contract management practices, compliance procedures, and commitment to historically underutilized businesses (HUBs) in the State of Texas.
The survey seeks extensive information about the applicant's contract awarding methodologies, including competitive bidding practices, multi-source contract approaches, supplier screening processes, and transparency measures. Key focus areas include the organization's procedures for monitoring supplier performance, ensuring market-aligned pricing, avoiding conflicts of interest, and supporting minority-owned, women-owned, and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses. The document requires applicants to provide details about their contract portfolio's size, spend, competitively bid contracts, and willingness to engage with diverse suppliers. Additionally, the survey explores the organization's ethical standards, certification requirements, and external audit practices, with the ultimate goal of determining the organization's suitability as a potential GPO contract supplier for the UT System.
