About this file
This document is a solicitation specification for a Sequential PM2.5 Sampler issued by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), detailing technical requirements for acquiring particulate matter monitoring instrumentation. The solicitation seeks a specialized environmental sampling device capable of automated collection of multiple PM2.5 samples over a minimum of two weeks, programmable for various sampling frequencies, and meeting specific EPA reference method standards. The equipment must include a comprehensive set of components such as a stand, pneumatically-activated filter exchanger, active volumetric flow control system, microprocessor with menu-driven software, ten filter cassettes, and multiple manuals and accessories. Delivery is expected within 120 calendar days after order receipt, with the equipment to be shipped to TCEQ's facility in Austin, Texas.
The solicitation specifies that all items must be new and of current production, with a two-year warranty covering onsite system, parts, and labor. Additional requirements include providing two sets of comprehensive manuals, in-house training for TCEQ staff at no additional cost, and technical support available during standard business hours via telephone and email. The sampler must have capabilities for reporting detailed sample information in CSV format, including filter identification, start and stop times, sample duration, average flow rates, and environmental conditions. The procurement involves standard government purchasing protocols, with equipment to be shipped Freight on Board (FOB) Destination, meaning TCEQ will take delivery once goods arrive at their warehouse.
