About this file

This is Addendum No. 1 to IFB-25-013 issued by the Texas A&M Forest Service Purchasing Department for the Burkburnett Office Fence project, dated February 6, 2025. The addendum clarifies that damaged and displaced fenceposts in the existing fence are not to be replaced as part of the work performed. Additionally, while a section of old, overgrown fencing was identified in the SW corner of the property during the site visit, the Purchasing Manager has determined that its replacement is not within the scope of this IFB. The project remains focused on constructing new fencing to comply with property sale terms, maintaining the original estimated distance of 905 linear feet with five corners.

The addendum includes specific submission requirements, stating that responding bidders must return a signed and dated copy of the addendum either with their IFB submittal or by fax to 979-458-7387. Failure to submit a signed and dated addendum may result in bid disqualification. No pricing terms or funding requirements are modified in this addendum.

RE: Invitation for Bid #IFB-25-013 Burkburnett Office Fence

The following additions, corrections, clarifications, and/or deletions are made to the above referenced Invitation For Bid:

Damaged and displaced fenceposts in the existing fence are not to be replaced as part of the work performed.

During the site visit, a section of old, overgrown fencing in the SW corner of the property was identified. Our Purchasing Manager has determined that the replacement of this fence does NOT fall within the scope of this IFB. This IFB is for the construction of new fencing to comply with the terms of sale of the property only. The original estimated distance of 905 linear feet with five corners is still correct.

In addition to submitting a completed IFB, responding bidders must return a signed/dated addendum by either including the addendum with the IFB submittal, or by fax at 979-458-7387.

Failure to submit a signed/dated addendum may result in disqualification of your bid.

Note: It is the responsibility of the bidder to ensure a completed addendum is received in full by the Purchasing Office.
