About this file

This is Addendum #3 issued by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) for solicitation #802-25-57228 regarding Furniture Reupholstery and Restoration at the Battleship Texas State Historic Site, with responses due February 11, 2025, at 2:00pm CT. The addendum provides clarifications through a Q&A format, addressing the ability to perform work out of state (specifically in New York), confirming that some metal frames require repair and refinishing, and specifying that the aluminum chairs are anodized and may be repaired using silver paint where necessary.

The addendum clarifies that no specific warranty is expected upon satisfactory completion of the work, particularly given the environmental conditions on the ship including humidity and salt exposure. TPWD will consider all proposals including those planning to perform work out of state. The document requires respondents to acknowledge receipt by returning a signed copy with their proposal submission.
