About this file

This is an Invitation for Bids (IFB #25-17) issued by San Jacinto Community College District (SJCCD) for the procurement of one new ultrasound machine. The solicitation specifically seeks either a GE Fortis/E-10 or Philips Epiq Elite/Affiniti ultrasound system, with equivalent alternatives acceptable if meeting all specifications. Required specifications include dual screen capability, Color/Power Doppler, various probes (vascular linear, small parts, curvilinear, transvaginal, sector, and neonatal), and multiple diagnostic settings. The IFB was issued January 13, 2025, with questions due by January 22, 2025, at 33:00 p.m. Central Time. Bids must be submitted through IonWave by January 31, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Central Time, with award recommendation expected March 3, 2025. Equipment must be delivered, installed, and operational by March 24, 2025, at San Jacinto College Central Campus in Pasadena, Texas.

Pricing must be submitted through IonWave's Line Items tab and must include the ultrasound system cost, standard delivery fee, installation/calibration, one-year warranty, and training costs. While SJCCD does not provide preference to historically underutilized or small businesses, awarded contractors using subcontractors must track and report payments and supplier diversity classifications for statistical purposes. Required bid attachments include specification sheets, conflict of interest forms, proof of insurance, and optional documentation for exceptions to terms and conditions. The delivery location does not have loading dock access, requiring vendors to provide lift gate service if needed. All installation, calibration, training, and debris removal are the vendor's responsibility.
