About this file

This document is a Request for Bid (RFB) from Angelo State University's Agriculture Department for fleet service/maintenance vehicles. The university is seeking bids for up to three 12 or 15-passenger vans, such as the Chevrolet Express or GMC Savana. The vehicles must have standard features including air conditioning, automatic transmission, air bags, and tow package. Bidders are required to provide details on the vehicle's year, make, model, color, warranties, fuel efficiency, engine size, and service capabilities. Proposals will be evaluated based on 50% pricing, 20% fuel mileage, 10% delivery date, 10% service and warranty, and 10% vehicle features. Bids are due by January 15, 2025, and the university reserves the right to cancel the order if the delivery date is not met. Pricing should include all applicable fees and charges, excluding state sales tax, and be valid for a specified number of days. The university will select the vehicle that best serves its interests, not necessarily the lowest priced option.
