About this file
This document is an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the City of College Station, Texas for the construction of new park amenities at Summit Crossing Park. The project includes the installation of a 6' concrete walking trail, pond overlooks with railings, a waterline for a drinking fountain, storm drains, and a picnic area. The estimated project cost is $200,000, but due to budget constraints, several bid alternates are included. Bids are due by 2:00 PM CT on November 21, 2024, and a pre-bid meeting will be held on November 6, 2024 at 2:00 PM CT, which is highly recommended but not mandatory. Bids must be submitted either electronically through the Brazos Valley e-Marketplace or as a hardcopy (original) to the City of College Station Purchasing Division, and a 5% bid security is required.
The ITB does not specify any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. No information is provided regarding incumbent vendors or current contractors, nor any existing infrastructure or technology that requires integration. The ITB also does not include any listed award values or budget ranges beyond the $200,000 estimate, though the presence of bid alternates suggests there may be flexibility in the final project scope and cost.
