About this file
This document is an addendum to a state and local contract opportunity issued by West Texas A&M University (WTAMU) for the Computer Center Roof Replacement project. The addendum serves to clarify, revise, and supersede information in the original project manual, drawings, and previously issued addenda. It includes changes to the supplementary general conditions, specifically regarding the WTAMU HUB (Historically Underutilized Business) goals for FY 2024, as well as additional provisions related to contractor business ethics and conflicts of interest.
The overall contract opportunity involves the complete replacement of the roof at the WTAMU Computer Center building located in Ochiltree County, Texas. Proposals are due by November 11, 2024, and the contract will be awarded to the proposal deemed most advantageous to the owner, based on criteria that allocate 51% weight to the proposal amount, 24% to the technical proposal, and smaller percentages to other factors. The project is set to start on December 30, 2024, and be completed by January 17, 2025. This contracting opportunity is set aside for HUB-certified businesses, and the selected contractor will be required to maintain compliance with HUB subcontracting requirements throughout the project.
