About this file
This document is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts Statewide Procurement Division for Sewing Accessories and Supplies. The primary customer for these items is the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ). The IFB requests sealed responses for various sewing-related products including elastic, knitted elastic, elastic yarn, sock yarn, and sock yarn for knitting. The IFB provides detailed specifications and requirements for each of these product lines, including color, size, composition, and testing standards. Delivery locations are specified as various cities in Texas. Respondents are required to submit independent laboratory testing reports for certain product specifications.
The IFB also outlines the sample requirements and testing procedures for the products, including minimum sample sizes, visual inspections, and performance testing. Packaging and labeling requirements are also specified. This contract opportunity is open to all qualified vendors, and there is no indication of any set-aside requirements or incumbent contractors.
