About this file
This document is an Addendum to Solicitation HHS0015245A, issued by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) Procurement and Contracting Services (PCS) division. The solicitation seeks bids to establish contract(s) for basic cable television services for residential homes, and broadband business internet services at the Rusk State Hospital (RSH) located in Cherokee County, Texas and Rowlett City, Texas. The addendum provides responses to vendor questions, including details about the current service provider, infrastructure ownership, headend, local origination channels, and facility details such as number of beds and televisions. The solicitation response is due on August 29, 2024, with no extensions granted.
The solicitation does not provide information about pricing terms, set asides, incumbents, funding requirements or sources. It indicates that the program does not own any cables, amps, taps or splitters, and the current headend is owned and operated by the existing service provider.
